Learner Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: utilize industry-standard software applications to create multimedia files for presentations and the web; master the technical use of the tools and menu options to create professional designs; demonstrate a thorough understanding of the computer software applications' capabilities; demonstrate increased levels of comfort and speed using the computer software application; and synthesize theory with technical and creative skills to provide multiple solutions to technical challenges.

Instruction: 
This course may be delivered in a classroom or online format. The goal of this course is mastery and synthesis of technical and creative skills in utilizing an industry-standard multimedia software application for presentation and web animations. Emphasis is placed on fostering independence in the learning process so that students can continue to upgrade their skills independently long after they have completed this course.
Credit recommendation: 

In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category OR in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 4 semester hours in Art (2/11).
