Master the basic theory of acting in order to create believable characters in imaginary circumstances.
Instruction:
This course introduces the ideas of Stanislavski and the foundations of acting through script analysis, monologues, exercises, and scene work.
Credit recommendation:
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 2 semester hours in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (11/97) (12/02 revalidation).
