Learner Outcomes:
Building upon the skills in Acting I (ACT101), create three-dimensional characters on the stage with believability and confidence; prepare a performance with good rehearsal strategies; solidify and secure acting technique.
Instruction:
The emphasis in this course is on deepening technique by focusing on more difficult scenes and concentrating on specific script analysis. Emotional life is explored through exercises. (Prerequisite: Acting I (ACT101) or basic acting technique.)
Credit recommendation:
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 2 semester hours in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (11/97) (12/02 revalidation).
