Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: describe what is meant by a project; explain what project management means; identify benefits of projects; identify the phases of a project's life cycle; sell ideas and make presentations related to positioning a project; prioritize projects; conceptualize a project, including goals and vision statements; use project planning tools; and contribute to creating a Statement of Work.
Instruction:
The Project Management Essentials course is offered in a blended format consisting of interactive lectures, in-class and online demonstrations, proctored skills applications/lab activities, and proctored testing.
