Franklin University
Franklin University offers transfer-friendly associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in business, education, healthcare, nursing, and technology. As a university dedicated to meeting the needs of working adults, Franklin provides online degree programs, as well as online access to free academic support resources.
Franklin recognizes learning outside the classroom, including business and industry courses, as well as military training, by awarding credit using recommendation services provided by the American Council on Education (ACE) and the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS), as well as individualized assessment of prior learning credit conducted by the university’s faculty. Franklin also awards credit through proficiency examinations (CLEP and DSST).
Franklin’s generous transfer credit policy honors the experience adult students bring to the university. Undergraduate students can transfer up to 44 credits toward an associate's degree or 94 credits toward a bachelor’s degree. Through MyTransfer Credit, a free online credit estimator, prospective students can see how previous learning saves time and tuition dollars toward a Franklin degree.
