- The University awards credit based on the following measurements of noncollegiate learning: proficiency examinations (CLEP, ACT-PEP, DANTES, Challenge Exams), formal noncollegiate coursework for which credit recommendations have been established by NCCRS or ACE-CCRS, military experiences recommended for credit by ACE, and individualized prior learning assessment.

- Atlanta Christian College was founded in 1937. The College enrolls more than 600 students in both traditional and adult degree programs. ACC is affiliated with the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ.
- The mission of Atlanta Christian College is to educate students for Christ-centered service and leadership through the world. ACC's educational goal is the development of the total person. The curriculum - biblical and theological studies, arts and sciences, and various professional studies -and the learning environment are designed to encourage students to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically and professionally.
- Approximately 95 percent of students received financial aid in 2008-09.
- Atlanta Christian College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the associate and baccalaureate degrees.
- Athletic teams compete as part of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II, in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball. A variety of intramural teams are also available.
